AYURVEDIC OPD:
We run a 100% free OPD, in our hospital which attracts hundreds of people from all over the region. We are a unique health center providing pure and classical Ayurvedic medicinal therapy.
All the diagnostics, consultation and the medicine, which is distributed in this OPD is paid for by the center. The patient is not charged anything. The hospital has been running this OPD since the last 25 years.
Our center not only offers free medication, but also guarantees quality medicines. To ensure that the medicines are of the highest quality, most of them are made in-house by our staff. We make sure that all the medicines are made from high grade and high potency raw materials. Care is taken during preparation and storage.
Dr. Apte, who is Ayurvedic Vaidya, travels from more then 200 Kms to reach our center to attend to this OPD. He is practitioner from the city of Gulbarga, Karnataka. He has been practicising medicine for the last 20 years. He is the third generation of Ayurvedic Vaidya in his family.
We run this OPD every Thursday and Sunday.
The other days our resident doctors attend to the OPDs, which we operate on no profit basis, charging minimum sums to the patients.
Our OPD been attended by more then 2,00,000 people since the last 29 years.

Panchakarma center:
We have a fully functional Panchakarma center, where all the Panchakarma therapies are done.
We have a different room for each therapy. At our center, hygiene is very important. That has been a huge complaint about various Panchakarma centers in India. At our center it is always taken care that each therapy is done in the most hygienic and clean environment.
We have beautiful massage and Dhara tables, which have been made out of pure teak wood and designed and hand crafted in our center. Extra care is always taken to make comfortable as well as functionally still perfect.
We have a spacious steam room, where each individual can get Ayurvedic medicated steam after and before therapy. We also have the steam box made from pure teak wood.
We also have a hydrotherapy section to target specific disorders of the spine and other musculo skeletal disorders.
We also have a unique Ayurvedic beauty therapy section where various traditional and classical Ayurvedic therapies for the face, skin, etc are done.
Panchakarma camps:
We conduct Ayurvedic Panchakarma camps at our center. These camps are of 5-7 days in duration. Every participant is taught the Vedic message of AGNIHOTRA here. Everybody is made to attend Surya Namaskar, Yoga, Pranayama and meditation sessions. Every participant gets around 5-6 different types of Ayurvedic therapies according to his requirement. He also gets a complete physical exam and medical consultation. Everyday Sattvic and healthy food is given to everybody. Each participant also gets a diet consultation.
This Panchakarma center is gaining a lot of popularity around the world. We have people coming here not only from all over India, but also from USA, Canada, UK, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, France, Colombia, Australia, etc.
IPD:
We have 15 state of the art residential rooms, where people can stay during the course of their therapies.
These rooms are a two-room cottage type set ups, with attached toilet.
Ayurvedic medicine pharmacy:
We have a fully equipped Ayurvedic parmacy at our center, where most of the drugs used in our OPD are made. We make sure that the classical and authentic methodology is followed in their preparation. Each drug is carefully manufactured, stored and dispensed from our centers pharmacy.
Ayurvedic herbal conservation:
We are trying to grow and conserve various Ayurvedic herbs at our center. We have around 85 different types of Ayurvedic herbs in our herbal garden. We grow all our herbs in organic manner, without the use of any artificial and chemical fertilizer and pesticide. AGNIHOTRA farming methods are employed to grow all our herbs.
We also grow a lot of vegetables, which are used for cooking the food at our center. These also are grown in AGNIHOTRA farming methods.
School Check ups:
We arrange an annual Check up program for all the schools in our area.
The doctors from our center visit the school and conduct these Check up camps. Each student is evaluated completely, with the helps of Ayurvedic and modern terms and tools.
A counseling session is advised with the teacher, student, parent and the doctor to discuss the child’s growth and health.
Children with health problems are asked to visit the hospital and there they are treated with Ayurvedic medicines. These camps are conducted for free and even the children are not charged for the medication.
Teaching:
Our center is also a center for Ayurvedic learning.
We conduct various training programs for Ayurvedic students and doctors.
Therapist training sessions are also conducted at our center, where high school graduates can learn the basics of Ayurvedic Panchakarma therapies and choose this as a career option. This gives them a chance to learn a vocation and gives them a job.
Our center is also the working with the College of Ayurveda, London, which is affiliated with the Middlesex University teach and train their students in various Ayurvedic theories and also give them a hands on training of Panchakarma therapies.
We also conduct courses for people who want to learn Yoga and also for people who want to be Yoga teachers.
Lectures:
We also conduct lectures on various topics related to Ayurveda and Agnihotra all over the world.
The purpose of this to propagate the message of Agnihotra all over the world.
It will help create awareness about Ayurveda and about a healthy living among people. This will help the people to get more real and more complete knowledge about Ayurveda.
Chiropractic Camps:
The centre's pioneering efforts in introducing the new healing science of 'Chiropractic' by inviting groups of American 'Chiropractors' for treating diseases of the spinal cord have proved very useful for the local populace and have been widely acclaimed.
Every year the trust invites a group of 20- 25 Chiropractic doctors from America. We conduct 10 day Chiropractic Camps, in which every year approximately 5000 patients are treated.
This is a unique endeavour begun by the centre since last five years.
Child Vision Center:
The trust also runs a ‘Child Vision Center’ at Shivpuri Akkalkot, in association with Orbis international, USA and HVDEH, Pune. This is a special Pediatric Eye Care center offering various Ophthalmic solutions, which are otherwise not available in this region. The center not only provides free eye checkup but also arranges for surgeries free of cost. Our center also arranges for adult cataract check ups. Patients suffering from this problem are isolated. We also arrange for their transport from our center in Shivpuri to the hospital in Pune, where the surgeries are done for absolutely no cost. We also arrange for the patients food and accommodation during this time.
